| The
god Osiris is a good balance for the large standing Isis as
they will represent the male and female in perfect tandem. Osiris
is the God of regeneration and is often shown as being green
representing the agricultural aspect of his persona. He is both
the Lord of the dead and the resurrection as he regenerates
himself throughout the seasons. He is shown in mummified form
with crook and flail as he is the ruler of the underworld. It
is he that can dissolve suffering and pain. |
