When I tell my life story, listeners are amazed at the coincidences that permeate the various twists and turns I have taken. I realize that I have experienced a great many aspects of what a human being is about, all in order to be worthy of the title of Priestess. I am happy to share the lessons I have learned in this unusual life.
Although I didn't realize it at the time, Isis, the ancient Egyptian Goddess of Nature, became my mentor, and perhaps even my mother, at the tender age of six. It was she who later prompted me to create Isis Oasis and to develop and expand it for twenty-five years. In her honor I continue to do her work. I believe the name and spirit of the Goddess Isis must be kept alive in this modern world.

Isis is a feminine deity with magical powers. She is known today as Mother Earth and certainly is not as loved and respected as when Isis was honored in ancient Egypt. The Temple of Isis is part of a larger movement that is bringing that reverence for Nature, as personified by the Goddess Isis, once again to the forefront of human understanding.            Those who believe that there is an imbalance in all areas of this contemporary era will do well to connect with the Goddess.
So, here I present to you the story that brought me to this place. I relate the many journeys that have been prelude to my life's final denouement. As I re-remember the various events that are woven into the fabric of my web of existence, I can see the images so clearly, as if no time at all had passed. They are precious recollections, each bringing further understanding of the position in which I now find myself.
I have now grown old and have manifested, with the aid of the Goddess, a fair amount of opulence throughout my long life. I know it is my destiny to leave a legacy of bringing the Temple of Isis back into prominence. It is an ancient concept, perhaps older than any other belief system on the planet: the return to the divine feminine and the expansion of freedom of thought, free of dogma. I coined the word" catma" to express the qualities of the Temple of Isis. A cat is independent and balanced, loving and gentle.
At Isis Oasis we create a world of our own within the world that exists outside. We surround ourselves with other creatures of Nature, with art and beauty, and with the conviction that what we have created here must be shared freely with others. The ancient tree that is the centerpiece of this amazing ten acres of land is a source of wonder and wisdom. I know my path is to make certain that this vision is carried on beyond me to continue to expand like the roots of the sacred tree.

May you enjoy the romp through the passages of my time on Earth with me, and may your life, too,
take  turns that will lead you to awaken your dreams and live your passion!
